Role Purpose:
The Bendi Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of stock throughout the warehouse. The role includes operating the Bendi forklift, transporting and stacking pallets, replenishing stock for sales orders, and loading and unloading trucks and containers.
The role requires accurate scanning and tracking of stock, careful handling of products, effective warehouse space utilisation, and maintaining good housekeeping standards. The Bendi Driver must follow all Health & Safety procedures, company policies and operational processes, while demonstrating reliability, good timekeeping and attention to detail.
Job Specific Requirements:
- Perform daily equipment checks ie. recharging, battery, etc before use of bendi
- Drive within the required speed
- Stacking and removing pallets on and off bulk racking
- Transporting pallets around the warehouse
- Knowledge of bin locations in the warehouse
- Help with replenishing from pallets for sales orders
- Stock / boxes on pallets must be handled with care
- Repalletise and shrinkwrap pallets securely before locating
- Ensuring all pallets have Tracking IDs before locating
- Ensuring correct placing and stacking of pallets
- Load and unload containers and trucks
- Obey scanner disciplines, policy & procedures
- Assist with other functions when not busy
- Enable Space Utilization
- Timekeeping, attendance and extended hours
- Following Health and Safety procedures
- Housekeeping in general
