About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to ensure our people remain our organisation’s greatest competitive advantage. You’ll take ownership of the full HR function — from systems and compliance to organisational development and employee relations — building an environment where our people, and the business, thrive.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- HR Systems & Administration — Keep policies, job profiles, and HR reporting accurate, current, and aligned with the latest legislative and benefit trends. Act as a trusted source of information for Line Management on policies, benefits, and staff matters.
- Capacity Planning & Recruitment — Analyse workforce needs, run cost-effective recruitment aligned to agreed profiles, and continuously improve our hiring processes.
- Organisational Development — Drive training, career pathing, learnerships and internship programmes, and manage our WSP/ATR training processes.
- Employee Relations — Provide expert guidance on ER matters, ensure fair and consistent application of policy, lead conflict resolution, and represent the business at the CCMA when required.
- Projects & Change Management — Plan and deliver HR projects, and support the business through organisational change.
- Leadership — Manage, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a culture of open feedback and continuous development.
- Legal Compliance — Ensure the organisation meets all obligations under the Employment Equity Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, B-BBEE Act, Health and Safety Act, Skills Development Act, and related remuneration legislation.
- Structure & Strategy — Advise the COO on organisational structure, ensuring job profiles and recruitment plans support business strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Qualification: A relevant degree or diploma in HR Management.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ generalist HR experience, ideally within a service-related environment.
